Is this area of Mexico safe?
Yes, Cerritos is a safe town with a high amount of American residents and a low crime rate. You can easily walk around the neighborhood and count on everyone being friendly and welcoming.
Is Cerritos beach safe?
It is a family friendly beach, also very known by surfers so count on some great waves! Keep in mind when you’re swimming that there is a dangerous rip at the right corner of the beach, it is used by surfers to get out on the waters but we recommend to stay away from the rocky side as the current can be very strong at times.
Any suggestions on enjoying this time and keeping it at an affordable price?
Our open-air kitchen is available after 1pm to prepare your own food. Pescadero has some affordable supermarkets where you can get groceries, but if you have a means of transportation, we recommend you go to La Paz or Cabo San Lucas to one of the bigger supermarkets.
What is the cancellation policy?
Cancellation is free of charge for guests until 14 days prior to check-in.
Cancellations from 14 - 7 days prior to check-in will be charged 1 full night per room booked.
Cancellations from 7 days prior to check-in will be charged 100% of your total reservation.
Group bookings (3 or more rooms) require one month notice of cancellation or the full amount will be charged.
Failure to arrive at the property on the booked check-in date will be treated as a no-show, you will be charged 100% of your total reservation.
Is internet provided?
Yes, there is free wifi available over the whole hotel grounds.
Is on-site parking available?
Yes, there is private parking within the hotel grounds.
Is laundry available?
Yes, a large load of laundry cleaned by our staff costs US$10.
Are pets allowed?
No, we do not allow pets.
Are extra beds available?
Our rooms have a maximum capacity of 3 people. This includes two people in the king size bed and one on either a daybed or a fold out bed, depending on the room you have reserved. If you would like the daybed made up before your arrival, please contact us and let us know.

No, the rooms and grounds of Olas de Cerritos are all smoke-free.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept cash and all major credit cards except American Express.
What is the maximum length of a stay? Missionaries and Pastors can stay here up to two weeks per year for the reduced rate.
